Users with administrative rights can view the active work types and their corresponding activity types in the system on the Work Types and Activity Types Admin screen. Here it is also possible to create new types, provided that the name is unique to the database. It is possible to remove work types and activity types from being used in LCAMS by selecting one and then clicking the delete button. However it will not be possible to delete a type if there are active closures still using them. This will not remove the type from the database but instead set it to "inactive". It will no longer appear in this screen or on the closure entry form. Entering a type with the same name as an inactive type will "re-activate" it in the view and the database.
